EL RECUERDO DEL FUTURO
ABOUT
Collective of research and performing arts founded in 2020 that seeks to preserve the history of Venezuelan theater in different formats based on the relationships between archive, memory, and territory.
It began as a research group of the School of Arts of the Universidad Central de Venezuela, later finding an autonomous space.
Project
We have two lines of action:

Registration in different formats -written, photographic and audiovisual- of characters, institutions, groups, and works from the country's theater history on various digital platforms. The objective is to fill those spaces with valuable memory, going against the current of the banal logic that governs much of the digital world.

Creation of territorial experiences that make the scenic dialogue with the citizen as a spectator and claim the right to the city as a possible setting for other narratives.

Areani Rondón
​
Researcher, teacher and actress. Trained at the School of Arts of Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV) and at TET Center for Artistic Creation, a theater company, she is a member of the stable cast.
Sara Valero Zelwer
​
Actress, director and teacher. Specialist in Theater of Objects, Interactivity and New Media (UNA, Argentina). Bachelor of Arts (UCV, Venezuela). She has published Travistiendo el discurso dominante and Cosidad vs Carnalidad. It is part of the TET Center for Artistic Creation, the Petare School of Musical Theater and Teatro en Red.
Marisela Montiel

Actress graduated from the Center for Artistic Creation TET (2018), yoga instructor and thesis student at the School of History of the Central University of Venezuela. She has studied dance, physical theater, yoga and movement.
Oscar Villanueva
​
Performance artist, screenwriter and assistant director. Bachelor of Scenic Arts (UCV). He has trained with important theater artists such as Daniel Uribe, Héctor Manrique, Matilda Corral, Xiomara Moreno, Mario Sudano and Jericó Montilla.
Camila Rodríguez
​
Actress and theater director, she is currently an Arts student at UCV. She has served as assistant director in several productions of prominent Venezuelan directors.
Elisa Castillo
​
Actress in training with groups such as Teatro Nueva Era, the acting program of the Audiovisual University of Venezuela, the School of Musical Theater of Caracas. She is currently part of the training program of the TET Actoral Training Center and is a student at the School of Arts at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV).
Sergio Palma
​
Actor, audiovisual editor and producer. He studied at the School of Arts of the Central University of Venezuela and is a graduate of the TET Actoral Training Center. He has worked with masters of Venezuelan theater such as Nicolás Curiel and Guillermo Diaz Yuma.
Leomar Aponte
​
Actor, photography and performance artist. He studies at the TET Actoral Training Center.
Bethania Yánez
​
Bachelor or Arts of the National Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE), she has more than 10 years of experience in acting, production, and the use of masks. She has participated in training meetings with members of the Odin Theatret, directed by Eugenio Barba.
María Laura Sánchez
​
Bachelor of Social Communication of the Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB), theater student at the TET Actoral Training Center . Interested in constant learning and investigation of the Human from chaos to tenderness.
